About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart as a Central Fill Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our central fill operations, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice Management: Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and regulatory requirements, as well as provincial Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, and Policies.
  • Customer Service: Provide timely and positive resolutions to customer needs and requests, while maintaining confidentiality and consent management.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accuracy of all prescriptions dispensed, maintain records, and control access to the dispensary.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the pharmacy team to achieve business objectives, while promoting a culture of inclusiveness and belonging.
  • Business Development: Identify and report business-building opportunities, both internally and externally, and take action where appropriate.
  • Training and Development: Support ongoing training for all pharmacy team members and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Valid license to practice in the province.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven ability to drive and build the business, lead by example, and support enterprise programs. Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and implementing action plans.
  • Personal Qualities: Commitment to providing exceptional customer service, superior customer relations skills, and a good sense of professionalism.
