We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our team at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents, while maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular security patrols of the hospital premises, including interior and exterior areas.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing assistance and support as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform a variety of preventative and reactive duties, including but not limited to, door opening requests, CCTV camera reviews, and security escort services.
- Investigate and follow-up on incidents, writing accurate reports and maintaining accurate logs and notebook entries.
- Responsible for all office duties, including ID badge distribution, key distribution, and lost and found.
- A valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Proficient in English (both oral and written).
- Degree in Police Foundations, Protection Security and Investigations, Criminology, or Border Services is an asset.
- Proof of double Covid Vaccination.
- Immunization Record (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2).
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification.
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
