You will also prepare and support presentation slides, key messaging, and customer communications, as well as recommendations on analysis conducted.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of energy market dynamics and industry activities, coupled with excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills. You will also have the ability to work independently with good judgment and manage multiple deliverables on tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide research support for commercial opportunities and management on industry, peer, and other developments related to diluent (condensate) and crude markets, and the petrochemical industry
* Develop concise and efficient economic models to support existing commercial business and evaluate business development opportunities
* Assess projects both qualitatively and quantitatively by verifying strategic fit, key commercial drivers, and financial returns
* Prepare and support presentation slides, key messaging, and customer communications as well as recommendations on analysis conducted
* Support various business unit stakeholders including management, in areas related to organizational and industry growth initiatives
* Ensure proactive communication with leaders and stakeholders, keeping them informed on issues, progress, and status

Qualifications and Experience:

* Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or Engineering
* Minimum 3-5 years related experience in the financial, upstream or midstream energy industry
* Excellent writing, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact with numerous stakeholders
* Must be a self-starter with strong customer service skills, problem-solving acumen, and high attention to detail
