Head of Business InsightsReporting to the Vice President of Advisor Experience Strategy & Insights, the Head of Business Insights is tasked with comprehending IG Wealth Management's business cycle and articulating insights to senior leadership regarding the impact of policies and business practices on results. While the role will derive insights from reporting and dashboards, technical data expertise is not a prerequisite. The incumbent will collaborate with department heads to enhance their reporting and dashboard capabilities, aiming to improve the effectiveness of IGWM dashboard reporting to yield deeper insights. The role involves innovatively integrating data, technology, and other methodologies to uncover and deliver valuable insights for IG Wealth Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Monitor and analyze all facets of IG Wealth Management and the Wealth Management sector, including but not limited to the sales cycle, regulatory landscape, and operational processes.
- Spearhead the transformation of IG Wealth Management Business Insights through collaboration with various IGWM reporting functions and the IGM Data Office.
- Identify new opportunities in Business Insights by engaging with IGWM business leaders and key stakeholders, determining the optimal approach for utilizing both new and existing data while sharing the insights gained.
- Present data insights to the IG Operating Committee and department heads regarding key performance indicators (KPIs) to facilitate strategic discussions, KPI achievement, and management of Advisor network performance.
- Participate in IGWM strategic initiatives, collaborating with project Business Leads to effectively establish and monitor project effectiveness KPIs.
- Develop trend analyses to inform both long-term and short-term business model decisions.
- Provide confidential guidance and operational leadership to the Client & Advisor Experience leadership team on financial, business reporting, and analytical matters.
- Lead a team of business analysts responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Business Insights, dashboards, and analytics.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Wealth Management sector.
- Proven track record of successfully leading a dynamic team focused on understanding the Wealth Management landscape and utilizing dashboards and reporting tools to generate business insights.
- Responsible for managing relationships with IGWM reporting functions across all business departments.
- Innovative, analytical, and creative thinker with demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven leadership, management, and implementation skills are essential.
- Professional designations such as CPA, CGA, CMA, CFA, or an MBA would be advantageous.
