Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at BLACKSTAR MGMT.
Job Summary:The Restaurant Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fast-paced food service environment. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant training or certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
