About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to a diverse acute medical patient population in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing Respiratory Therapy coverage in various areas of the hospital, including the birthing unit, critical care units, emergency department, wards, and pulmonary function lab.
  • Responding to various codes within the organization as a member of the CCOT team.
  • Setting up, maintaining, and monitoring respiratory equipment.

Requirements

  • RRT registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists in the General Class.
  • Practice according to the standards and guidelines set out by the College.
  • BCLS and NRP certification required; ACLS preferred.
