We are a fast-paced restaurant looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook at Pho Excellent, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our menu and quality standards.
- Special Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by our dietitian or chef.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant environment, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Cuisine Specialties: We specialize in Vietnamese cuisine, and the ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and cooking this type of food.
- Transportation/Travel: The ability to own transportation is required for this role.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent standing, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
