Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiography Technologist II to join our Diagnostic Imaging department at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, including receiving and completing requisitions, entering relevant data into the radiology information system, and preparing patients for examination.
  • Operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, including processing radiographs and archiving acquired data.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures and equipment performance.
  • Perform administrative duties as required, including data entry and communication with healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiological technology program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
  • Minimum of 1 year recent related experience in Radiography field.
