Job Title: Construction Estimator

Rafat General Contracting is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our estimating process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates are aligned with project requirements and scope.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and information for estimating purposes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve estimating processes and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, construction estimating, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of preparing accurate and detailed estimates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certifications in quantity surveying or construction estimating.
  • Experience with estimating software and technology.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
