About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our electrical systems team, you will be responsible for providing electrical assistance, troubleshooting, and project management to our plants. Your expertise will be essential in updating legacy technologies, programming automation and controls systems, and designing and implementing new electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide electrical assistance, including troubleshooting and project engineering
  • Update existing legacy technologies to current standards
  • Program automation and controls systems, including PLC programming and servo drive control
  • Design and implement new electrical systems, including electrical project management
  • Act as a corporate resource for automation systems development and implementation

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering Technology diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years' related work experience
  • Proficient in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming
  • Knowledge of Ethernet networks and network communication standards
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills
  • Ability to travel to various sites in North America
