About the Role

Brampton Electrical Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install electrical controls and panel boxes to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Install underground wiring and cables to meet electrical needs.
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation up-to-date to track system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure secure and reliable electrical connections.
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and integrity of circuits to identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment to meet electrical needs.
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables to meet electrical needs.
  • Supervise other workers to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate electrical system design and installation.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Electrician Trade Certification to demonstrate expertise and commitment to the trade.
