Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Ocean View Continuing Care Centre. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the organization and management of the nursing unit, ensuring that our high standards for quality care are maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursing team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Conduct regular audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide education and training to staff members

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree or Nursing Administration Course (preferred)
  • Three (3) years geriatric nursing experience
  • Demonstrated administrative experience and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a contributing team member

Salary Range: In accordance with the Collective Agreement between Ocean View Manor and Ocean View Manor Local of the Nova Scotia Nurse's Union.

Rotation: Days/Evenings/Nights: All Shift Hours
