Responsibilities:

* Manage the nursing unit, ensuring quality care and adherence to our standards
* Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
* Collaborate with the Neighbourhood Manager to develop and implement care plans
* Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning

Requirements:

* Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
* Bachelor of Nursing Degree or Nursing Administration Course (preferred)
* Three years geriatric nursing experience
* Demonstrated administrative experience and leadership skills
* Ability to work effectively as a contributing team member
* Demonstrated knowledge of the nursing process, nursing diagnosis, and clinical assessment skills
* Ability to work a 24-hour shift rotation on any nursing unit

Salary Range: In accordance with the Collective Agreement between Ocean View Manor and Ocean View Manor Local of the Nova Scotia Nurse's Union.
