Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Onboard Immigration Services. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Responsibilities:

* Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
* Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
* Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
* Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
* Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
* Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement

Requirements:

* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment or restaurant setting
* College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
* Excellent problem-solving and time management skills, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
