At KPMG in Canada, we're seeking a skilled Supervisor to lead our Conference Center team. As a key member of our events team, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless event execution and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 4 employees dedicated to coordinating events at the conference center.
  • Lead daily service meetings to ensure all tasks are assigned and goals are met.
  • Hire temporary staff (agency) for certain events.
  • Manage the American Express card, including closing accounts and tracking expenses.
  • Supervise billing and cost tracking related to alcohol during events.
  • Accurately track and manage alcohol-related transactions.
  • Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and billed in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate operations during events to ensure quality service.
  • Perform quality checks to maintain high standards.
  • Supervise staff and coordinate activities during events to ensure smooth running of meetings and events.
  • Manage customer requests and budgets associated with those requests.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in managing a conference center.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
