Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waterproofing Foreman/Woman to join our team at New Canadian Drain and Plumbing Ltd. As a Waterproofing Foreman/Woman, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of waterproofing systems, supervising a team of workers, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the installation of waterproofing systems, including preparation of production reports and coordination of activities.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of workers, including apprentices, and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, including the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment, including steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members, including on-the-job training and mentorship.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, dusty, underground, and confined spaces.
  • Work Setting: Commercial, residential, and various locations.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and team player.
