Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at ELM Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit production reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our transportation team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Route Planning and Dispatch: Plan and dispatch routes for our bus drivers, ensuring that all schedules are met and that our customers receive excellent service.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate the requisition and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that our transportation department has the necessary resources to operate effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our transportation team is aware of and adheres to all safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a transportation or logistics role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
