Senior Investigator, Customer Diligence Centre

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Crime Investigator to join our Customer Diligence Centre. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting FCC from financial crime by conducting thorough investigations into suspected fraud and other criminal activities.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead complex investigations, primarily focused on fraud cases within the agricultural sector.
  • Develop and execute investigation plans, gathering and preserving evidence while maintaining strict chain of custody protocols.
  • Prepare comprehensive investigation reports, providing expert insights for internal decision-making and potential legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with various departments, law enforcement agencies, and industry partners to share information and best practices.
  • Contribute to FCC's anti-fraud initiatives by providing training, guidance, and support to colleagues.
Your Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, along with a Certified Fraud Examiner designation (or equivalent).
  • Minimum five years of experience conducting commercial crime investigations within a financial institution, law enforcement agency, or security role.
  • In-depth knowledge of investigation techniques, reporting standards, and legal frameworks governing criminal and civil proceedings in Canada.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate complex information both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
