Job Summary:

The York Region District School Board is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Casual Administrative Assistant, Educational Assistant, or Library Technician.

About the Role:

This is a casual, on-call position that requires flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the ideals of public education and the mission, vision, and guiding principles of the York Region District School Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative tasks as outlined in the applicable job description and as directed by school administration.
  • Support the educational program by assisting teachers and students as needed.
  • Provide library services and support to students and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma from an institution recognized by the Board of Education.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and be flexible.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as an effective team member.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of school computer software such as word processing and computer-assisted learning software.
