Procurement Lawyer

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Lawyer to join our team at Axiom. As a key member of our client support team, you will provide expert legal guidance to our clients on public procurement matters, helping them navigate complex commercial agreements and mitigate potential legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on procurement strategies and help them develop effective procurement plans
  • Review and negotiate complex commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement standardized terms and contractual language, policies, and protocols
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in purchase functions to drive procurement excellence

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • At least 5 years of experience in public procurement, with a focus on contract negotiation and dispute resolution
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex contracts and resolving disputes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
