About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at Bas Construction Ltd. as a Construction Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality construction and renovation projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines and resource allocation
    • Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Construction and Renovation
    • Prepare and install building frameworks, including foundations, floor beams, and roof systems
    • Install and finish interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and floors
    • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, and hardware
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
    • Identify and report any quality control issues or defects
  • Team Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and mentor junior carpenters and construction staff
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure team members are working efficiently and effectively
  • Cost Estimation and Management
    • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
    • Manage and control project expenses to ensure budget targets are met
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction and renovation
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Construction sites, including various locations and weather conditions
    • Overtime required, including evenings and weekends
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluent in English
