Job Title: Welder

Matrix Metal Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including flame-cutting equipment and metal shaping machines
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet quality and safety standards
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods and working under pressure
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and a team player
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities
