Nurse Practitioner Position

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Health Careers in Sask.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide primary health services to the community, working collaboratively with the health team to promote health, prevent disease, and provide supportive care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide health promotion and protection services to the community
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in community development initiatives and evaluative projects
- Develop and implement health education programs
- Provide emergency services and treatment as needed
- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree
- Three years full-time experience as a Registered Nurse
- One year experience in community needs assessment/development/health promotion
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- BLS for Healthcare Provider (Level C) - Heart and Stroke certification
- High level interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Listening skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Decision making skills
- Leadership skills
- Demonstrates empathy, trust, and respect in the provision of care
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, independent judgment, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide holistic care to individuals, families, and the community
- Demonstrates ability to accept and implement change
