Psychiatrist - Cowichan Valley

The Cowichan Valley Department of Psychiatry at Island Health is seeking a General Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) programs, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of psychiatry services in our region.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Participate in clinical team meetings and provide reports to the Department of Psychiatry
- Contribute to the development of psychiatry services in the Cowichan Valley, including the new Cowichan District Hospital
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care to patients
