Position Overview

The role of the Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor involves overseeing daily operations within the food production environment. This position is crucial for ensuring that all processes align with safety standards and company protocols.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree required
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a supervisory role
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, safety measures, and company guidelines.
  • Compile and maintain production reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the activities of team members, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Supervisory Scope

Direct supervision of 1 to 2 employees.

Required Certifications
  • Possession of a Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certificate is essential.
Knowledge of Regulations
  • Familiarity with CIP (Cleaning In Place) and SIP (Sanitizing in Place) systems.
  • Understanding of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance for machinery and equipment.
Safety and Security
  • Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
