About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at SOHYA CONSULTING INC. as a key member of our commercial investment team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Administration: Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of project outcomes.
  • Development Planning: Plan and develop projects that foster economic growth and commercial investment, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Market Research: Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers to inform business development strategies.
  • Business Development: Develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage industrial and commercial investment, and conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports, research papers, and educational texts on business development trends and best practices.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct analytical marketing studies to assess market potential and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Proposal Evaluation: Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Research Design: Design market research questionnaires and conduct quantitative and qualitative research projects to inform business development decisions.
  • Feasibility Studies: Develop feasibility studies to assess the viability of business development projects.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote business development initiatives.
  • Presentation and Communication: Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to share business development knowledge and best practices.
  • Business Planning: Develop and implement business plans to achieve commercial investment goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in business development or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office and ability to design and conduct research projects.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an urban area and be willing to relocate for this position.
