POSITION SUMMARY: This role is centered on Real Estate/Development Project Management, necessitating substantial and direct experience in Real Estate Development initiatives. The ideal Senior Project Manager (SPM) will be responsible for delivering tailored project solutions to our clientele, emphasizing quality and exceptional customer service. Projects typically involve office tenant fit-outs and various construction undertakings related to real estate. Acting as an "Owner's Representative," the SPM is expected to embody CBRE's core values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients throughout project execution.
- Oversee the project life cycle utilizing PMI-based methodologies.
- Manage multiple mid to large-scale complex projects, generally valued between $100,000 and $15 million.
- Develop comprehensive project budgets, timelines, scopes, and risk assessments.
- Assemble and lead design and implementation teams.
- Procure and supervise external service providers.
- Negotiate modifications in project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Utilize CBRE's software tool Kahua for project management.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality management standards.
- Conduct site visits for tendering and construction evaluations.
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
- Contribute to the enhancement of processes and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 12 years of relevant project management experience.
- A minimum of 7 years focused on office tenant improvement projects.
- Exceptional communication skills and experience in client-facing roles.
- Strong financial management and budgeting capabilities.
- In-depth understanding of real estate development processes.
- Possession of a valid Class '5' B.C. driver's license and willingness to travel.
- PMP certification is preferred; relevant degrees or experience are required.
- Authorization to work in Canada without visa sponsorship is mandatory.
Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience. Benefits include a Group Retirement Program, Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, Life Insurance, and additional perks.
