Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research on beauty products and trends
- Write engaging and informative guides on beauty topics
- Collaborate with editors to develop new content and formats
- Partner with our discovery and audience teams to identify trends and outside experts worth profiling
- Work with our community team to respond to reader feedback and questions
- Perform related work as assigned
- Minimum 5 years of professional writing experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the beauty beat
- Excellent communication and task management skills
- Patience to work collaboratively through multiple rounds of edits
- An inherent skepticism of marketing claims and a commitment to high standards of reporting and accuracy
- Knowledge of SEO from an editorial perspective
- Savvy at finding ways to get in touch with brands and other experts
- Experience doing original reporting and research for features or how-to guides
- An interest or experience in the style category
We offer a competitive salary range of $73,840.00 to $82,000.00 per year, as well as a remote-friendly work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.
