About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Baby Care Specialist to join our team at Centre de la Petite Enfance Mamik. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership: Lead activities that foster learning and growth, including storytelling, singing, and outings to local attractions.
  • Support and Guidance: Assist children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaboration: Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and community service providers to provide comprehensive support to children.
  • Environment and Safety: Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Availability: Be available for shift or on-call work and the advertised start date.
  • Experience: Have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
