About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Development Specialist to join our team at Centre de la Petite Enfance Mamik. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of young children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities that foster learning and development, including storytelling, singing, and outings to local attractions.
  • Health and Hygiene: Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for children.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and nurturing environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Education: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Availability for shift or on-call work, and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
