Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with various teams to ensure efficient building operations.
  • Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC/BAS systems.
  • Assist in monitoring building security and life safety systems.
  • Address tenant inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
  • Carry out minor maintenance tasks such as carpentry, drywall, painting, and more.
  • Support seasonal building needs including snow removal, salting, and landscaping.
  • Implement preventative maintenance procedures and manage service contracts.
  • Oversee inventory management, cleanliness, and contractor activities on-site.
  • Respond to after-hours calls and emergency situations.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in facilities management and maintenance.
  • Fundamental understanding of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively and make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Building Environmental Systems, Power Engineering, or equivalent credentials.
  • Knowledge of energy management and sustainable practices.
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Experience with building management systems such as Yardi FM or similar.
