Job Summary

Talize is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Crew Team Member to join our team. As a Donation Crew Team Member, you will be responsible for processing donations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Process donations in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all items are properly sorted and stored.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience working in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Previous experience in a thrift retail environment is considered an asset.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Organizational skills – organizes received merchandise to efficiently fit in bins/cages.
  • Safety conscious – possesses proper form to effectively and safely conduct manual labor, follows safety guidelines when operating machinery.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to dust – all of designated shift.
  • Exposure to periodic temperature fluctuations and noise levels.
  • Requirements to have open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Interaction with customers, clients, and the public at large.
