- Facilitate activities that promote learning and development in young children.
- Guide children in developing healthy habits related to eating, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor children for signs of learning or behavioral challenges and prepare reports as necessary.
- Participate in discussions regarding children's progress during staff meetings.
- Establish clear behavioral guidelines and maintain a supportive environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to enhance children's well-being.
- Design and uphold a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
- Completion of a college or CEGEP program in early childhood education (1-2 years).
- Membership in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) is required.
- Non-smoking and air-conditioned facility.
- Physical demands include repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
- Punctual and dependable with strong interpersonal skills.
