At International Gurukool Education Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Educational Counsellor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students, parents, and teachers in a variety of educational settings. Key responsibilities include attending educational conferences and workshops, supervising teaching assistants, and counselling students regarding educational, career, or vocational issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of educational principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Attend educational conferences and workshops to stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in education
* Supervise teaching assistants and provide guidance and support to ensure the success of students
* Counsel students regarding educational, career, or vocational issues, including personal and social issues
* Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, and community agencies to provide comprehensive support to students
* Coordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents, and teachers
* Administer and interpret standardized intelligence, aptitude, and interest tests
* Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and workshops to contribute to the development of guidance and counselling programs
* Develop and implement guidance and counselling programs to support student success
* Arrange for recruitment of graduating students by employers
* Supervise peer counselling programs and field experience for graduate students in clinical and counselling areas
* Visit colleges and secondary schools to provide academic information to prospective students, their parents, and educational institutions

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
* Strong understanding of educational principles and practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Fluency in English
* 35 hours per week
