We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Sales to join our team at Surestay Hotel by Best Western. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion across our network of hotels.
Key Responsibilities- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization of resources to achieve sales targets.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring effective leadership and management structures are in place.
- Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, driving sales growth and revenue expansion.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring efficient and effective management of sales operations.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales leadership or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent oral communication, organized, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
- Work Conditions: 35 hours per week, permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
