Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A & W. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
Estimate and Manage InventoryEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
Quality Control and Customer ServiceEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Reporting and AdministrationPrepare and submit reports as required, and perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of our food service operations.
Requirements- Leadership and Communication Skills
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve their best.
Experience and Qualifications7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Work EnvironmentFast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Language and Work ScheduleFluent in English, with a 32 to 40 hour work week.
