Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our upscale property, MTN House by Basecamp. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all amenities, including guest services, housekeeping, spa, and restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Guest Service Manager, Housekeeping Manager, Spa Manager, Restaurant Chef, and Restaurant General Manager to ensure seamless operations
- Implement and manage the hotel's health and safety plan and conduct regular meetings with the health and safety committee
- Ensure monthly financial outlooks for Net Operating Income, Rooms, Food & Beverage, Admin & General, and more are on target and accurate
- Work with the Vice President of Operations to create and maintain Housekeeping and Guest Services policies and procedures
- Proactively address guest comments/issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution
- Establish the hotel's reputation for quality and luxury by inspecting rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and upkeep
- Develop and implement new business development strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
- Valid Driver's License with clean abstract for three years minimum
- First Aid Certification (training can be provided)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows – Outlook, Excel, Word
- A solid understanding of pricing, budgets, and cost controls
