Job Title: National Process Excellence Manager

Are you a process improvement expert looking for a challenging role in a dynamic logistics company? Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a National Process Excellence Manager to join our Black Belt team in Mississauga.

Your Role

As a National Process Excellence Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives across various departments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive process mapping system
  • Utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to address inefficiencies
  • Designing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Mentoring personnel and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Your Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all improvement efforts meet expected targets
  • Teaching Yellow Belt and Green Belt Certification Course
  • Conducting Awareness Workshops
  • Belt Project Mentoring
  • Increasing Belt Population
  • Developing Course Content
  • Leading Process Improvement Projects
  • Generating Tangible and Intangible Results
  • CI Program Deployment
  • Stakeholder Management
Your Skills and Experiences

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt methodology
  • 8+ years of experience in process improvement or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, insurance or banking industry (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Experience as a Lean Sensei or equivalent (plus)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a similar project management certification (plus)
