Exciting Opportunity for a History Educator

Job Summary:

GSL Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated History Educator to join our team. As a History Educator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative History lessons to students, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and inspiring, supporting, and challenging students with high expectations.

About the Role:

  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver high-quality History lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners, promoting academic excellence and fostering a love for History.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring students feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to share best practices, provide feedback, and address concerns.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments, pedagogical innovations, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Experience: A degree in History or a related field, with a strong teaching background and a proven track record of delivering high-quality History lessons.
  • Subject Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of History, including its theories, methods, and applications, as well as a passion for sharing this knowledge with students.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents from diverse backgrounds.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: A willingness to adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and dedication.
