Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social work services to students, families, and staff, including clinical assessments and interventions.
  • Build knowledge of mental health and promote mentally healthy habits and skills.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and community agencies to enhance academic success and social-emotional wellbeing.
  • Consult with families and provide support from an attachment-informed perspective.

Requirements:

  • Masters of Social Work degree from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the College of Social Workers of Ontario.
  • Extensive training and experience in youth mental health, trauma work, and family-based treatment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
