About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at KSS TRANSPORT LTD. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely and Efficiently: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods with precision and care, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and handled.
  • Perform Vehicle Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and make any necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Communicate Effectively: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and gain experience in long-haul trucking.
  • Documentation: Familiarity with driver logbooks, inspection reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Equipment: Experience with tractor-trailers and other heavy equipment.
  • Transportation Experience: Long-haul experience preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
