About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at M&G TREATS AND BAKERY INC. as a Kitchen Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, as well as managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training on preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, work under pressure.
