About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Safety Specialist to join our team at Rentokil Initial. As a Food Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients' food safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to measure conformity to established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards for clients
  • Observe food preparation and cooking standards to ensure food safety, health, and sanitation practices
  • Partner with clients to address root causes of assessment discrepancies and develop corrective action plans
  • Teach and coach clients on how to make their workplace a safer and healthier environment for themselves and their customers
  • Travel up to 50% of the time, equivalent to 10 days per month, and work evenings and weekends as required
Requirements
  • Meet the requirements to obtain a CP-FS certification
  • Have a highly flexible Sunday to Saturday work schedule that allows you to work around personal commitments
  • Be willing to travel via car and/or plane up to 50% of the time
  • Have the ability to lift 10 lbs chest high, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach
  • Have excellent listening and communication skills
  • Have strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Have excellent organization and time management skills
  • Be able to influence others with tact and skill
  • Be able to provide clear and constructive feedback in a positive manner
  • Thrive in an autonomous working environment
  • Be able to organize and prioritize work based on urgency, efficiency, and other factors
  • Have a safe driving record and a commitment to working safely
  • Have strong technical knowledge of food safety, preferably with ServSafe and/or CP-FS Certification(s)
  • Pass a pre-employment background screen and possess a valid driver's license
