Position Overview

Casa Dolce Casa Inc. is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant to provide essential support to our patients. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of individuals in our care.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Assist with meal service and provide feeding support to patients as needed.
  • Support the mobility of patients by weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning them appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment by making beds and tidying patients' rooms.
  • Provide personal hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Safely transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Administer first aid during emergency situations as required.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
