  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry and kitchen area.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by the dietitian or chef, ensuring that all meals meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen and ensure efficient operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
