About the Role

As a seasoned Application Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IBM Computing by leveraging your expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically PeopleSoft. Your technical acumen and experience in designing and developing customized systems will be instrumental in driving business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of PeopleSoft applications, utilizing your expertise in People Tools, Data Mover, and Application Engine.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PeopleSoft with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and business process automation.
  • Design and implement data models, workflows, and business rules to optimize system performance and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that system configurations and customizations are well-documented and easily accessible.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code quality, security, and best practices are upheld.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest PeopleSoft releases, patches, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive system improvements and enhancements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ERP technical background, with a strong focus on PeopleSoft.
  • Expertise in PeopleSoft applications (v9.0 or above) using People Tools v8.49 or greater Application Designer.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and business process automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex system issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Federal Government Security Clearance is required for this role.
