About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at the Northern Star Hotel & Convention Center. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bedding and Linens: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Maintenance: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
