About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Solutions Consultant to join our Amazon Business Professional Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their procurement goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement: Engage with our largest and most complex customers, consisting of Fortune 500 companies, to understand their procurement needs and develop solutions that meet their goals.
  2. Procurement Process Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of our customers' source to pay processes and systems to ensure we can provide a viable solution that meets their needs.
  3. Solution Development: Recommend solutions to help customers adopt complex business features and identify potential risks/gaps and propose potential workarounds.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the sales team to provide status updates and insights learned during discovery with the customer, and relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate and influence key internal Amazon stakeholders to drive the evolution of Amazon Business platforms and technologies.
About the Team

The Solution Consulting team sits within the Amazon Business Professional Services (ProServe) organization, which is dedicated to accelerating our customers' success, adoption, and spend. We accomplish this by guiding their journey with tools and services while building their confidence with insights and trusted resources.

Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience.
  2. Procurement Expertise: Experience translating customer needs into business requirements, positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments, and knowledge of procurement, procure to pay (P2P), and source to pay methods at enterprise businesses.
  3. Implementation and Services Delivery: 2+ years of B2B implementation or services delivery experience, and experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
  4. Change Management: Experience with change management and implementing procurement and source-to-pay processes and solutions for enterprise customers.
