Job Title: Glass Installer

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installer to join our team at The Six Auto Pro. As a Glass Installer, you will be responsible for installing glass and other materials in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation.
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring a precise fit.
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, guaranteeing a secure and watertight seal.
  • Prepare shop drawings to ensure accurate measurements and installations.
  • Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Transport cases of glass, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
  • Estimate costs and materials, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, adhering to safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Will train, but prior experience in glazing or a related field is an asset.
  • Permanent employment, 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
