Job Summary

PMC Delivery Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations while on the road.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Handling: Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo, as well as transporting and handling dangerous goods.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess an AZ class license and meet all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions
